Housing Accountability Archive (HAA) is an independent public-interest documentation project by Walter Escobar.

HAA is not a government agency, law firm, or tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Materials are published for documentation, education, administrative review, and public accountability.

Mission

The mission of Housing Accountability Archive is to document how housing systems affect participants after placement, during transitions, and through administrative decision-making.

  1. Preserve records related to housing administration and participant experience.
  2. Document supportive-service accountability and service-delivery gaps.
  3. Organize timelines, communications, policies, and oversight materials for public review.
  4. Support transparency, administrative review, and informed housing oversight.
